1% Law – Skills Development
Quebec companies subject to the *Act to Promote Workforce Skills Development and Recognition*—commonly known as the “1% Law”—are required to invest a portion of their total payroll in staff skills development. Eligible training courses offered by Centre Professionnel ELC can help you meet your workforce training obligations.

Financial aid for training
Financial assistance programs may be available to businesses and workers to support skills development and workforce training. Depending on your situation, certain training costs could be eligible for government financial assistance. Tuition tax credits
Centre Professionnel ELC is an educational institution recognized for applicable tax purposes. Certain training courses aimed at acquiring or improving professional skills may qualify for tuition tax credits, provided eligibility requirements are met.
